Ana Gonzales bio
Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson is an Mexican singer and musician born into a family of musicians. The majority of her childhood was spent listening to classical music, old boleros and traditional romantic and ranchero ballads. Ana loves tangos as well drama and opera. When she was a child, her mother would sing with her, she started more serious training in singing at 16 under the guidance of the renowned Mexican Tenor FlavioBecerra. She furthered her training in music in the School of Music of Guadalajara University, then at the School of Sacred Music, Toluca. In Guadalajara along with Mexico City, she was a member of many opera ensembles as well as chamber groups. She sang with the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus in the United States before moving to southern California. She is currently performing the traditional Latin American songs at private events as a soloist. Her passion for singing, music and the arts keep her engaged in local projects in both her capacity as an artist and teacher. Ana is a previous member of Community Chorus of Redlands (as as Inland Master Chorale) and Performance Loft. Ana thanks the Inland Master Chorale for allowing her to perform classic Latin American song.
